Inside the Equine Pelvis and Sacrum | 5 Classes | September 18-October 14, 2025 | Tuesdays 11 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. Mountain Time | Zoom Online

$375.00

In this course we will further our understanding of the equine pelvis. The study will include the pelvis, sacrum and the relationships that can help guide our access from other parts of the body.

In this course we will further our understanding of the equine pelvis. The pelvis is less of a bowl in the horse and more oblong than human, however, it still has many holes, arches and circles. The many holes allow it to be light, and curves and movable parts facilitate response to stresses throughout the structure. The pelvis holds the vital contents of the reproductive system, part of the digestive and waste system and provides pathways for nerves, lymph and blood vessels for the movement of the hind limbs.

The study will include the pelvis, sacrum and the relationships that can help guide our access from other parts of the body.

The work will focus on:

  • understanding the working parts of the pelvis and its relationships
  • improvement of movement through the limbs and spine
  • improvement of organ function and digestive distress
  • addressing structural challenges
  • tracing the structures of the pelvis and sacrum

The course includes: lecture and materials, charts, homegrown technique videos, lively classroom discussion, homework and the opportunity for students to submit videos and/or photos of their work. All classes are recorded so you can listen later at your convenience. Materials are available for an extended period on Dropbox.

Prerequisite: Preferred that students have taken Equine Body Balance, Equine Ortho-Bionomy or Ortho-Bionomy course prior to this one.

Early Bird rate applies on or before September 13th, 2025.
