Recently technology has afforded me the opportunity to work with owners and students of animals while they are at the barn or in their homes. For those who live anywhere in the world, this ability to use FaceTime or Zoom to make a connection and work on real world health issues is a big breakthrough. As the instructor, I can view the horse and feel the horse’s energy across a great distance, and know where he or she feels discomfort and where her strengths are. Together with the owner or student, we can intuitively find what works for the horse and how to make him or her more comfortable in his/her body. This is a hands-on session for the owner.

Consultations or discussion can be about any aspect of liberty horse training, the Equine Body Balance program or Ortho-Bionomy. While all my work is basically hands-on with Equine Body Balance, Ortho-Bionomy and Horses at Liberty Foundation Training with energetic components built in, there is value in having a conversation about the challenges you are having with your horse and your work. Sometimes solutions can be reached with this type of contact. For Ortho-Bionomists who are completing their associate practitioner and practitioner requirements, consultations can be satisfied this way. A conversation can often be a great way to connect and get much-needed helpful information about your horse’s needs. It can also be helpful between events, to ensure you’re on the right track. Knowing that you can complete aspects of your program with some phone consultations can be helpful if you don’t live near your advisor or Ortho-Bionomy classes.

Overall, courses offered are a great way to gain a deeper understanding of the Equine Ortho-Bionomy work, to help you and your horse. Students learn valuable contact and positioning, for both horse and human. Online courses are offered on a regular basis that can also be included for those requiring CEs for massage and bodywork programs. Instructor is NCBTMB-approved.
