Equine Liberty from the Heart | 1-Day Workshop | April 7, 2018 | Santa Fe, NM
Private Ranch, Santa Fe, NM
Liberty Foundations are beautiful ways of entering into a heart-felt relationship with your horse.
In a recent study conducted by the HeartMath Institute, Ellen Kay Gehrke, Ph.D. found that horses would reflect the heart rate variability of humans, so that tells me that how we feel in ourselves is really important to doing any type of work with horses.
By working with our dimensions and senses we can deepen connection with the horse. Our connection resides in our own bodies. At the same time we work with herd behavior and what the horse wants you to know, furthering understanding and our relationships with our horses — all done without tack. By modeling cooperative relationships, without restraints, the horse becomes a willing and joyful participant.
Join me for this informative and fun one-day workshop learning the six basic Foundations of Liberty and how to apply them to various situations.
In this clinic you will learn:
* The fundamentals of how to work with a horse at liberty, inspired by equine herd behavior.
* How to work with your own and the horse’s energy through the dimensions and breath.
* How to work with space.
* How to nourish curiosity and joy in the horse.
* Feel when the horse is connected and when it has lost connection, and how to bring it back again.
